When you add Private Coaching to your Comprehensive Presentation Skills Course (course description) you’ll work one-on-one with one of our trainers. Coaching takes place online and over the phone, just like a webinar.

Here’s how it works.

During the Comprehensive Course you will develop a real-life presentation. When you’ve finished, you’ll upload it to our secure server and schedule a one-hour coaching session. Before your session takes place, your coach will review your presentation. Then during your coaching session you’ll receive feedback and recommendations on your slides.  You'll also practice delivering your presentation to your coach.

First, you and your coach will discuss:

• Any questions you have after taking the online course
• How well your presentation focuses on the specific needs of your audience
• The flow of your introduction, body and conclusion
• The overall effectiveness of your slides

Second, you’ll practice your presentation, focusing on:

• The clarity of your message
• The effectiveness of your presentation’s introduction and conclusion
• How well you explain the information on your slides
• How well you keep your listeners with you
• How to move smoothly from one slide to the next
• Your speaking pace, vocal intonation and pauses

At the end of the coaching session, you will have gained:

• In-depth, personal feedback on the presentation you’ve prepared
• Greater confidence and comfort with the presentation process
• Insight into your strengths and challenges as a presenter
• Practice making the leap from preparation to delivery
• Specific recommendations on the skills and techniques you should focus on moving forward

Time restrictions apply, of course. If your presentation is long, you may not be able to practice all of it during your one-hour session. When that’s the case, you and your coach will decide which parts of the presentation are best to focus on. Throughout the process we’ll do our best to use your time wisely, offering you insights that are tailored to your needs and situation.

Extended License:
When you buy the Comprehensive Course with the Private Coaching option, you also receive an extended license for the course, six months instead of the standard three months. You can schedule your coaching session at any time during your six-month license.
