Our live workshops usually last two days and follow a step-by-step skill building process. Each session is tailored to the group and further customized for each individual.

Just as we do in our online courses:

We help presenters be themselves, only better. By doing so, we preserve every presenter’s personality and natural communication style while giving them more control over the presentation process.
Participants develop and practice delivering a real-life presentation.
We leave prescriptive, generic rules behind, focusing instead on helping presenters use their engagement skills—the skills they need to stay focused and connect with their listeners.

Additionally, a live workshop provides:

Experiential learning. We devote as much time as possible to practical issues. Our job is to (1) recreate the presentation environment each person faces in real life, (2) assess their performance within that environment, and (3) find the simplest, most efficient way for them to improve.
Private video coaching. In-class exercises are video recorded in front of the group. After each exercise, participants review their videos privately with one of our coaches. This approach combines the real-life dynamic of a group session with the benefits of private coaching. It also keeps the process focused on what works best for each individual.
Long-term learning opportunities. Each workshop begins with online pre-work during which participants develop a draft of the presentation they’ll work on in class. After the workshop, participants receive access to eCoach for a full year. eCoach, our secure online learners' portal, includes follow-up letters for each participant, in-class videos with integrated instructor feedback, seven follow-up videos and much more.
